Death is NOT the Answer
Death is Not the Answer; Rethinking mental health one story at a time delves deeply into the complex and often misunderstood world of depression and suicide. This feature length documentary unearths the roots of depression and explores the reasons for suicidal tendencies through personal stories, as well as through scientific reasoning. Through the lives of suicide survivors, veterans, and first responders, as well as respected mental health professionals, we explore the aftermaths of these sometimes-tragic events. The film offers a diverse and intelligent conversation on a topic that is usually seen as “taboo.” By also including discussions about how to improve and maintain our own mental health through comedy, animal companionship, music, and life style, the film will give audiences a sense of hope and inspiration. In the end, the film concludes and drives home the message that death is not the answer. To learn more about the film, visit www.deathisnottheanswer.com
